AZULEDJO
This is not a conventional ceramic tile. Azuledjo is a coating that reveals itself during the night, when the LEDs inside light traditional Portuguese tile patterns. These patterns are transferred to the tiles by uploading a raster image through an USB interface. The images to create patterns can be both made by the user as well as downloaded from a CD with several examples of patterns.
This work was only developed as an concpetual ideal while all of it technical detail still need study.
